Evergreen Squash Club — Pure Squash
Juniors welcome!
An Evergreen Squash Club membership is one terrific value.
Have a child at home, who is, perhaps, too small for hockey, football, rugby or basketball. Do not despair. Squash could be the game you are looking for.
Squash builds fitness, mental toughness, and helps create an attitude of success in everyone who takes up the sport. There is a learning curve involved; but, Evergreen Squash Club has the coaches and support required to make the endeavour successful.
Junior members at Evergreen Squash Club have been involved in a successful junior program for many years.
For more information, contact our Junior Director, Alicia Haneine using our online form.

Doubles or Nothing:
A Matter of Honour
Quite honestly, I never expected to be in this situation. Not because
of any skill my partner and I might have; but, simply because of the
improbability of it happening. However, now that it has, I feel a
need for a public catharsis.
In pictures
The following photos, quite clearly, illuminate the villainous
event. We were playing in the 3rd game of our first 50+ match in
the 2009 BC Open Doubles Squash Championships. The match was at
Evergreen — three of the players were Evergreen members.

Leslie Kerluke (R)

Rick Kochanski (L)
Oh, the shame!
Right up until the we lost the last rally, I didn't believe
it would happen. For a fleeting moment, I even thought one of
our opponents might be kind enough to purposely drive the ball
into the tin. Not to be. Our poor egos — shattered,
pounced on and crushed by two smiling fiends.
Re-match and settlement
Clearly the little fellow has his Sunday best on, and is
ready to visit the winners. All we ask is a re-match at the time
of settlement, and at a time convenient to both Jamie and Leslie.
Gentlemen, the ball is in your court.

P.S. That is a Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut under the gym strip.

The devils reply
I don't recall that we won 15-0 but I am happy to play subject to
everyone's schedules.

Now that really hurts! — Rick
I was quite amused by the webpage link and would love to play a
repeat match. Whenever we can arrange it. Maybe Lynn could schedule
it on one of the in house doubles slots and we could have Don as a
guest for the event.
Let me know

A few others comment
Cheers that is good … not that you lost that is.

I love it!!! You should forward to Marv — I
think that he has a Champagne Games section on the Doubles BC website…
