Evergreen Doubles Ladder is Back
The Doubles Ladder is now on-line, hosted on the Quick-Draws site. Like the singles ladder on the Gigasport site, players must log-in to record matches. No log-in is required to view the current state of the ladder.
All intra-club doubles matches are valid ladder matches — assuming all the players involved are on the ladder. And, to sweeten the pie, all ladder matches count toward the BC Doubles Rankings — assuming at least one player in each pair is a current Squash BC member, and already has a BC Doubles Ranking.
Lynn Broman and Rick Kochanski have put together a couple of web pages that pretty much tell you everything you need to know.
So check it out, if not already on the ladder, join, and start making your mark in the club doubles rankings!

2008 Membership Renewals
Memberships are effect September 1st to the following August
31st. So, if it's August (or September), it's renewal time!
Please note that this year, August 2008, we are only mailing
hard copies of the relevant renewal forms to members for whom
we do not have email addresses.
Everyone else is asked to download the relevant forms (PDF
format) from the web site (see below).
Once the forms are complete, please put them in an envelope,
"Attn: Membership" on the front. Please drop the envelope off
at the squash club (in the box in the office labeled
"Membership Renewal"), or mail to:

Membership renewals are due September 1, 2008. The grace
period will run until September 21, 2008.

In order to ensure that our files are up-to-date, please
fill out all requested fields. Please be sure to include
your Key Fob # (if it has not worn off).
Payment
Due to large amounts of volunteer participation and the
launch of what we anticipate to be a successful membership
drive, we will not be raising our annual dues this year! To
keep this trend going, we will need continued volunteer
support, and your assistance in helping us attract new
members. Introduce a friend, put up one of the printed
8.5x11 posters on a local bulletin board, or slap on a bumper
sticker — every bit helps.
N.B. For administrative reasons, we would like to
encourage members to pay annually via cheque (ideal,
so we don't pay credit card fees each month), or, one time,
via credit card / debit (same price as paying by cheque).
However, you can still pay monthly, if that works best for
you. Though, please note that due to an increase in Visa
processing fees, we will be raising our monthly dues by 2%
(about $1 / month).
